Capt.
Bob Liston began his career on the ocean in 1965 as a lobsterman. Since
that time he has owned and managed six different boats from Georges Bank
off the coast of Southern New England, to The Dry Tortugas off Key West
Florida. He has been engaged in commercial as well as Sport fishing. In
1998 he began offering charter service aboard the LETHAL WEAPON operating
out of Wells Harbor, Maine. Captain Bob holds a 100 ton USCG Master
Captains License and is a registerd Maine Tidewater Guide as well. |

The Lethal
Weapon is a 38' fiberglass fishing boat built in 1995, designed for comfort
with custom charters in mind. She is powered with a V8 diesel which delivers
a cruising speed of 20 knots. The deck area is very spacious with rod holders
and a custom padded boat chair for each person. There is also ample room
for storage of cameras, coolers, and other belongings. |

Navigational
Equipment
The Lethal
Weapon is equipped with Raymarine® navigational electronics. She is
equipped with radar, loran-c positioning indicator, and a global positioning
system (g.p.s.). Her communications include main and back up VHF radios
as well as an emergency marine cellular telephone. and of course a top
of the line Raymarine® Color fish/depth finder, and track plotter. |

Emergency
Lifesaving Equipment
We have
a eight man inflatable life raft, survival suits, and life jackets equipped
with rescue lights for each person aboard. The Lethal Weapon also carries
a emergency positioning beacon (E-pirb) which sends exact positioning data
to the coast guard in the event of an emergency. All of the Lethal Weapons
life saving equipment meets or often times exceeds rigid U.S. Coast Guard
standards. |
